Where did December go? And how is it 2020? Regardless, Empowered is ready for this exciting new decade. To celebrate a blessed past and bright future, we had to ring in 2020 the right way.
On December 18th, we gathered for our annual Christmas party. We started the evening with a great dinner at The Rockhill Grille, and then took a party bus back to our new North Kansas City office. Below, you will find a few pictures from that evening. And we want you to take a good look at the faces of our team and some of their spouses. There certainly was a joy and excitement that filled our office that night, but more than anything, we noticed pride. Our team gathered on Christmas night not to take pride in ourselves individually, but pride in what we’ve accomplished together.
The only way Empowered will succeed in the future is through our “people”. Without them, the “profit” doesn’t mean as much. Both are important, but the former is our company mission, and the latter is a result of proper prioritization.
As you can see, everyone had a great time and we’re already looking forward to next year’s party. However, between now and then, we have a whole lot of work to get done. Our goal is to hire individuals who can step in and complete the task at hand without caring who gets the credit. A group of that caliber is easy to love and easier to celebrate. We surprised our team with sweet gifts this year (North Face/Carhartt Vests for the men + Nickel & Suede earrings for the women) and most everyone was surprised. But don’t let this surprise you in 2020: Empowered is growing in Kansas City. We won’t stop our pursuit of people – customers included.
We have a lot more digital content heading your way in 2020, but we’d rather see you face-to-face! Stop by our office and say hello. We’re out of cool vests, but we’d love to hook you up with some Empowered swag. In the meantime, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from our team to yours!
